Expectations
Based on our research and available data, OpenAI Ads is currently a relatively expensive advertising platform, with CPMs around $60 per 1,000 impressions. Most agencies are currently leveraging it as approximately 70% brand awareness and 30% lead generation, rather than as a pure direct-response channel.
That said, it is an excellent platform to explore early, establish a presence, and position the business in front of users who are actively researching products and services through AI-powered conversations.
